One of the most important first steps when you are expecting is to find a healthcare provider and schedule regular prenatal visits. "I consider my primary job to be helping families make sure their kids are well, and when they're not, doing what I can to get them well.
My favorite part of the job is the kids. I like to play with them, and I try to keep my office from being a scary place so kids can have fun even if they don't feel well."
