Huron Regional Medical Center, a small, rural, 25-bed critical access hospital in east-central South Dakota, is accepting applications for a full-time staff occupational therapist. The hospital’s occupational therapists work as part of a tight knit, experienced and supportive team that strives to exceed customer expectations by providing physical therapy services in Home Care; acute care; Swing Bed; outpatient; outreach contracted services including B-3, schools, skilled nursing facilities; and industrial medicine. There is never a dull moment when working with the integrated rehabilitation team that consists of physical therapists, speech-language pathologist, respiratory therapist, and registered nurses supported by excellent resources and leading-edge technologies.

Hours per Period:
72 - 80 hours per two-week period
Shift:
7am–3:30 or 4:30pm or 8am–4:30pm or 5:30 pm
Hours per Shift:
8, 9 or10 hours
Weekends:
Rotating On Call

Minimum Certification/Licenses Requirements:
Baccalaureate or Masters Degree with satisfactory completion of the Occupational Therapist training program in an accredited school of Occupational Therapy. Current South Dakota license as an occupational therapist.
Preferred Experience:
Occupational therapy experience in a hospital setting preferred.
The successful candidate will have to pass competencies for this position.
