HURON, S.D. – Join HRMC’s cardiac and pulmonary and PAH support groups for fun games and a low-fat potluck picnic on Tuesday, July 20. The event will be at 12:00 noon at Putters & Scoops at Ravine Lake Park in Huron. Please note the date change from the regularly monthly meeting day.
Anyone is invited to attend. Please bring a dish to pass. Beverages, plates and utensils will be provided. After the meal, attendees are encouraged to stay awhile and take a walk around the lake or enjoy a game of mini-golf or a paddle boat ride. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the Huron Towers Auditorium.
The “Heart Smart Cardiac - Better Breathers Pulmonary Support Group” promotes support and education for community members who have heart and lung disease and for family members who have loved ones that have been affected with the disease. The Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) support group provides support and education for patients and family members who suffer from high blood pressure of the lungs. For more information about the support groups or questions about where the event will be held if the weather is questionable, call 353-6531.
